Punk tends to reward purity of vision. Generally the surest path to success for a punk band is to do one thing and do it well, be it streamlined garage punk, street punk or post-hardcore. Direct Hit have never been ones to limit themselves, though. Instead, their albums hopscotch from skate-punk to hardcore and alternative. And their follow-up Crown of Nothing , released last month, is an even bolder swing for the fences as well as a step outside of their comfort zone. In the past, their process had always been to rehearse the songs to near completion before they began recording, but for the new album they left room for surprises in the studio, while inviting more than a dozen guest musicians to leave their mark on the record. But Woods speaks about the album with a mix of pride and ambivalence. Woods credits their label Fat Wreck Chords for giving the band the freedom—not to mention the budget—to make the kind of albums they want to make, even though that their scattershot nature makes them anything but a surefire return on investment.

The album was featured on Punk News's "Top 20 Records of the Year" list, where it was called "a finely tuned blast of tooth-melting punk rock goodness.
Well, you won't be getting into anything soon. You can't reason with fanatics, and you got one. They seriously have movies about it.
It made me sad to think that the thing that was most important my life в my faith в was something that I could never fully share with my husband. They seriously have movies about it. Keep things going and see what happens. If you are not old enough to consider marriage, you should be careful about having a serious, exclusive relationship. I now think that 2 is the only reasonable choice to make, even as a man в staying single my whole life в until and unless I find the woman whom I cannot live without, the woman who is a true companion to me. I wish there was a mother's support network for us all to join and meet up. Make an honest effort, and see if you reach the walk-away point. You are too young to deal with this. I'm so glad we waited until now instead of jumping into it right then, because I have learned a ton and the learning curve of being with a doctor is far more steep than it is to be with someone who is not married to their job. A lot of what you say about Support was what I expected to find in residency.
