John "TotalBiscuit" Bain has passed away at the age of 33 due to complications from bowel cancer. The streamer, podcaster, reviewer and internet personality has left an immense legacy in the gaming community. I discovered video game criticism thanks to Biscuit, and without his videos I would not be where I am today. I don't want to focus on the sadness of the situation, but rather shed some light on some of his immense accomplishments. We could talk about TotalBiscuit's Starcraft commentary career that helped shape the world of esports into what it is today or the Coxcon conventions that helped bring people together even amidst controversy. Instead, I'm going to share the tale of "Lul," a global Twitch emote that's been used millions of times on the streaming site. If anything funny happens, TotalBiscuit's jeering face gets spammed in chat, a perfect memorial for the scene's most prolific entertainer. Our "LuL" history lesson is brought to you by an amazing video by TheScore Esports who perfectly summarized the entire saga. It migrated to TotalBiscuit's Twitch stream as the sub emote "Cynicallaugh. The pair fought over the picture, with Tayag eventually saying that he was fine with the picture being used, but not behind a subscription paywall.

It seems like these memes and weird words emerge out of Twitch chat rooms where things can apparently get somewhat complicated and cringy. One person went a bit deeper on this phenomenon saying that it is not just year-old children spamming message boards, forums and twitch livestream chats, but you can be a mids doctor with kids and still be acting ridiculous on the internet spamming this keyword over and over in a chatbox. There are some reaction memes available online if you search them out on Reddit.
Some memes explode into the collective consciousness with no remorse or regret, frothing at the mouth and daring hapless bystanders to remain out of the loop. The emote is, at first glance, nearly inscrutable. If you see it soaring by in a fast-moving Twitch chat, it might appear to be a golden hoop or some kind of uncomfortable-looking ring. In reality, it is a face—or rather, a mouth stretched so wide that you could probably toss a bowling ball into it and it would be none the wiser.
He is toning down his opinions and ocd ways a little, to be fair to him, I try to ignore the strong opinions, and him rearranging things. Welcome to Reddit, the front page of the internet. I feel very sad sometimes but I try to stay strong. You will only have a happy relationship if either you both believe in the Mormon Church, or both do not believe. So I've been dating my boyfriend for more than a year. She's already past her prime in the Mormon dating market. She doesn't want to marry you. Takes some getting use to.
